Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Services:Individual, Groups & Coaching

Individualized behavioural services at varying intensities provided in a centre location or in the clients’ home, based on your child’s needs to develop skills in multiple areas, including communication, independence, toileting, eating, play and social skills, and school readiness as well as managing challenging behaviours.

  • Based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
  • Individualize teaching strategies according to your child’s strengths and needs
  • Are available across a range of times and intensities to meet the needs of your child and your family
  • Provide 1:1 and group opportunities
  • Provide caregiver coaching and training opportunities
  • Based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
  • Individualize teaching strategies according to your child’s strengths and needs
  • Are available across a range of times and intensities to meet the needs of your child and your family
  • Teach skills across developmental areas, including but not limited, to communication, independence, toileting skills, eating, play and social skills, and school readiness skills as well as the treatment of challenging behaviour
  • Provide caregiver coaching and training opportunities
Groups that support children and families across a wide range of ages and needs. This may include instruction in the areas of:
  • Social skills development
    • Friendship Skills (ages 4-7)
    • Circles™ (Intimacy and Relationships; ages 6-13)
    • PEERS for Adolescence™ (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relationship Skills; ages 13-17)
    • Customized offerings
  • Coping with anxiety
    • Facing Your Fears™ (ages 8-14)
  • Safety skills (e.g., abduction prevention, abuse prevention)
  • Functional life skills (e.g., food preparation, cleaning, shopping)
  • Other future groups as determined by families’ needs and interest
Note: some groups may require prerequisite skills.
Individualized sessions with parents and caregivers to provide ABA-based techniques and tools to better support their children on goals important to the family. Coaching may delivered in-person or remotely. Coaching is typically goal-based and includes:
  • Demonstrating effective ABA-based strategies
  • Providing resources
  • In-person coaching
  • Follow-up support
