Meet Our Team

Our team is proud to provide high quality, evidenced-based services to thousands of children and youth with autism and their families. We are dedicated to working with our clients and families to help meet their needs and make connections that will work for you.

Leadership Team

The Kinark Autism Services leadership team is committed to ensuring high quality, effective, responsive, and family centred services to children and youth with autism and their families.  We and our staff are committed to Kinark’s mission of helping children and youth with complex needs achieve better life outcomes.

Scott Bark

Program Director, Kinark Autism Services

With over 25 years of experience as a clinician, teacher and administrator, Scott brings a passion and commitment to working with children and youth with autism and their families to achieve better life outcomes together.  Scott holds a Master of Public Administration and supports the creation, development and execution of services within the program.

Dr. Michelle Sala

Clinical Director, Kinark Autism Services

Dr. Sala has worked in many service sectors in her 20+ year career as a psychologist including forensics, school boards, children’s mental health and autism. As a French-speaking psychologist, she has also consulted to and worked with many francophone agencies, school boards, and families both locally and in the North. At Kinark, Dr. Sala works collaboratively with her team of clinicians in overseeing the clinical programs. She brings with her years of knowledge and expertise in the area of autism and a commitment to delivering strong, family-centred services to all clients.

Melissa Ball

Interim Associate Clinical Director, Kinark Autism Services

Melissa has been working with children and youth with autism and in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) for over 20 years providing direct service, consultation, clinical supervision and staff training. Melissa received her Master of Applied Disability Studies with specialization in ABA from Brock University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Melissa is committed to evidenced-based practice and family centred care.

BCBA Team

All of our programs are supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our team of BCBAs have a graduate level education and have extensive experience and training in the development and supervision of individualized service plans for children and youth with autism. The BCBAs work closely with our families throughout their service to best meet the individual needs of their child and family. Our team of BCBAs also provide leadership and mentorship to our staff.
