Social Time!

Join our Family Support Workers for a social time that the whole family can enjoy!

Social Time is a fun and interactive way for families, parents and kids to connect virtually, discuss ongoing events or participate in different activities and crafts! Facilitated by our Family Support Workers, Kinark offers three types of groups to meet the needs of our children, youth, and their families.

Parent/Caregiver Social Time

Parent social time is designed for parents and caregivers of children and youth with autism. Sessions provide a safe space for parents to have virtual discussions about challenges they may face, questions they may have or just an opportunity to meet with other parents who can understand their day to day lives. Parenting strategies and experiences will be shared in each session.

Summer Programs and Activities

Join our Family Support Workers for a discussion about summer programs and activities for your child and family.

Family Social Time

Family social time is designed for families of individuals with autism. Sessions aim to provide an hour of fun virtually through interactive and engaging activities for the whole family!

Scavenger Hunt

Do you have quick feet? Join us for a fun scavenger hunt game where we will send you searching for items in your home! Recommended for ages six to 15.

Trivia Night

Join us for a fun evening of trivia games on kid friendly topics!

Does your family love music? Join us for a fun night of musical trivia.

Scavenger Hunt

Bring a family magic trick and show us! We will show you some cool new ones too.

Virtual Aquarium

Let’s all stay safe and take a virtual trip to the aquarium together. Join us as we visit the aquarium virtually and see Jellyfish, sharks, and much much more.

Kid Social Time

Kid social time is designed for children and youth with autism to connect virtually and participate in fun activities such as crafts, show and tell, dance parties and much more. These sessions are recommended for children and youth aged five to 12.

Do you have something special to share and would like to show it to others? Join us for a show and tell! Don’t forget to ask your friends questions about their items too!

Arts and Crafts

Let’s get crafting together! Join us for a fun night of arts and crafts. Some materials will be required.
