Teen social time is designed for youth with autism to connect virtually and in person, and participate in fun and educational activities and discussions. These sessions are recommended for youth aged 13 to 18, unless otherwise indicated.

Pizza Night! – July 9
Let’s get together and make a delicious pizza! Bring your own toppings and we will provide you with a pizza kit. We will get together with new friends and talk about our pizzas, have an early dinner and share some cheesy jokes!

Hang Out – July 16
Join us for an exciting evening of fun, laughter, and connection at our Games Night social! Participants will have the opportunity to connect with peers in a relaxed environment through a variety of board games, video games, and interactive online group games.
This is Session 1 of our 4-week Teen Hangout series! Whether you’d like to join us for one session or the whole series, this registration-only event is a fantastic way to build friendships and try new games in a supportive space.
Please note that these events are intended for teens registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). This is not a drop-off event; parents and caregivers must remain on-site. A comfortable Waiting Area is available with refreshments and snacks.

Hang Out – July 23
Get ready to move, groove, and play together in the great outdoors! Participants will focus on physical activity and teamwork through a variety of active games and sports designed for all energy and skill levels.
This is Session 2 of our 4-week Teen Hangout series! Whether you’d like to join us for one session or the whole series, this registration-only event is a fantastic way to enjoy some fresh air, practice team spirit, and connect in a supportive space.
Please note that these events are intended for teens registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). This is not a drop-off event; parents and caregivers must remain on-site. Join us outside and cheer on your Teen! Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Hang Out – July 30
Discover the magic of nature with this hands-on gardening social! Participants will learn about the plant life cycle and local Ontario pollinators before getting their hands dirty planting their very own seeds in pots to take home and care for.
This is Session 3 of our 4-week Teen Hangout series! Whether you’d like to join us for one session or the whole series, this registration-only event is a fantastic way to learn more about gardening and connect with friends in a supportive space.

Hang Out – August 6
Step into the kitchen and whip up something delicious at our Cooking and Baking social! Participants will build food literacy and kitchen confidence through a activities that covers essential prep routines, measuring, and following a recipe.
This is Session 4 of our 4-week Teen Hangout series! Whether you’d like to join us for one session or the whole series, this registration-only event is a fantastic way to try a new skill, take home a recipe to recreate, and celebrate the end of our Summer Teen Hangouts.
